Haiku

A Haiku is a type of poem. It uses a 5-7-5 sequence in syllables. Here is an example:

Hot Summer Day

Hot summer days are . . .
Fun, relaxing, and joyous.
I love summer days.

Notice in the first line it has 5 syllables.
In the second line it has 7 syllables.
In the third line it has 5 syllables.

Would you like to get your Haiku published online? Just email me! Thanks!
